The Thunderbolts are, as previous versions have been, an elite and secretive private military, with their leader being Junichiro Nakamura. A few changes I've made are that the Thunderbolts get their funding and resources from Nakamura's corporation, which deals in international trade and oil drilling, and are on par with irl corporations like Exxon in terms of wealth. They're also really good at hiding or destroying any documents that would compromise Junichiro's shady dealings, the Thunderbolts' existence included, and they aren't afraid of putting out someone's lights if they don't keep their mouth shut. Junichiro also has lots of ties with the Japanese government, which allows for even more funding of operations.
