Imgflip probably auto-approves images that look innocent in the fun stream.
Sometimes, my images got approved almost immediately there.

they even approve just blank white templates with nothing on them...

and over 90% of the time my images take hours to get approved

Mods are sometimes confusing. I've actually had an animation disapproved because they didn't look past the first frame of the GIF.

They had to come back to my animation and manually reapprove.
