Rottnest Island doesn’t export anything. T does, however, import tourists. Tourism is the only industry. It used to be car-free, and you’d hire bikes to get around, but no longer. There are vehicles there for tourism purposes. It’s a short ferry ride from Fremantle in Western Australia (about an hour from memory).

It’s not like a Caribbean tax haven, with its own legal status and a disproportionate number of multinationals wit( their headquarters there.
