Public enemy chapter 1: Before the nightmare

“Yes… YES!!! I FINALLY FOUND IT!” Satan yelled out as he laughed maniacally. He held up a golden box and placed it on the throne. He then kneels down and holds his hands up and starts chanting an incantation
Satan: Almighty yokai with skin of gold… Release thyself and grant my wish!
The box shakes and then shoots open as a bright golden orb appears and opens its eyes… and it speaks-
Yokai: alright, what do you assholes want no- oh…
He says staring at Satan, who just looks confused.
Yokai: I uh…
He clears his throat
Yokai: I am Jīnī! I shall grant you one wish! So state it well, lord of hell.
Satan stares at him with a smile and holds up a picture of a man with brown hair.
Satan: Oh great yokai that happens to be golden, I wish to destroy all the bonds this man has in this world! His friends, his family, his loved ones, make him miserable! Make him hated!
Jīnī: Your wish is… huh…
The Yokai says, doing a double take at staring at the image
Jīnī: Hey uh… have you seen that guy turn blonde or something?
Satan: Uh… no?
Jīnī: Oh good! Must be some kinda coincidence then… anyways your wish is granted!
The Yokai emits a bright light that blinds a good chunk of hell, before dissipating away. Satan looks around and turns to Jīnī.
Satan: Is it done?
Jīnī: It has. No one has the memory of that man in that world… But there was one person I couldn’t erase… But that’s probably unimportant… Welp, I'm going to go back to see my brother. Hopefully that dumbass Ts-
Satan: Wait.
He says holding out a hand. The yokai stares at him in confusion.
Satan: How about you stay in that box? We might need your help in case something goes… wrong.
Jīnī: Hm… a fail safe… Very well, I shall follow along. However, if someone else finds or uses the box before you, their wish shall be granted instead
He says fading back into the box. Satan gathers all of the demons around and yells out in announcement.
Satan: Every demon who has attended! Our trump card has been awoken! We shall ravage the sapien world and claim it for ours! The mortals shall hail me and declare Matt Kingsman public enemy number one! Is everyone ready?
All of the demons cheer as Satan takes out his staff and waves it around the area until he notices something…
Satan: hang on… where’s Shuri?
One of the demons (Classified species: Nobodies) raised their hand as Satan pointed to them.
Nobody: Well sir… There was a hell gate that opened up a while ago and your daughter decided to go for a little shopping.

Satan: alright… I’ll alert her to open up the hell gate for us soon then. For now, we wait!
The demons moan in disappointment. Meanwhile, sirens ring in a museum as a figure holding a chain in their hands walks up to a podium with a necklace inside. The figure reaches into the glass separator and breaks through with ease, taking the necklace and putting it on her. Suddenly, guards appear and aim their guns at the figure who turns around with a smile.
Shuri: Well you boys seem eager.
Guards: GET DOWN ON THE FLOOR RIGHT NOW, MA’AM!
Shuri laughs to herself and spins around her chains, her smile showing her fanged teeth.
Shuri: Well then, let me give you a once in a lifetime opportunity. A nice date with me.
She says throwing the chain through a man's chest and then swinging it around, beheading 4 of the guards who weren’t able to avoid the attack in time. She wipes some blood off of her cheek and smudges it on the wall. A gun clicks from behind Shuri as one guard, who just watched all of his friends die to this… woman, this thing!
Guard: Y-you have the right to remain silent a-and-
Suddenly the chain wraps around the guard and pull him close to Shuri to the point they were face to face
Shuri: Don’t f**k with me boy.
She replies by tightening the chain, causing the guard to yell out in pain. His eyes popping out of his body and with a loud squish, all that remained of him was red paste. Shuri picks up the guards helmet and stares at the camera with a smile
Shuri: The gates of hell open up soon. We hope to see you there~
She says blowing a kiss and tossing the helmet away. She then walks out of the museum with her dress soaked in blood. Suddenly, Shuri hears her phone ring, and so she reaches into her pocket and takes out her phone and answers it.
Shuri: Oh hi daddy! How’s the yokai hunting going?
Satan: It went perfectly to plan. The erasure of Kingsman’s memories is gone from those Sapien minds. Now feel free to open up the hell gate for us, darling.
Shuri: Okay dad! Buh bye!
She says hanging up. With a snap of her fingers, a huge hell dog comes out from the ground and stands next to Shuri, who jumps on top of it.
Shuri: alright Shadow! Lets go to the hellgate!
She says pointing as Shadow runs across the city and towards it. Back in hell, Satan turned back to the demons and continued a speech he made.

Satan: As you all know, the last time we tried this, we were defeated by Kingsman’s father. Fortunately, unlike before, we’ve been watching his spawns every move ever since that incident with that black and red form of his. And then he disappeared for a bit, no idea what happened there, but then we saw him in Numbaria with some new power… Everyone be careful once it’s open… Matt kingsman is the top liability to our reign… I can only fear what he’s doing to get stronger…
Meanwhile Matt was at an Arcade playing dance dance revolution, however he was too oblivious to realize that he was supposed to tap the arrows and not follow the character in game. Once the results showed the F he got, he fell down in disappointment.
Matt: Aw man… Welp I’m out of quarters…
He says searching his pockets. He then realized that most of the people in the arcade are leaving in a hurry and glancing at him from a distance. Matt decided it was probably time to go and left along with them, causing all of them to run away. Confused, he looks around with hands on his hips.
Matt: Huh… everyone seems scared of something…
He says as he searches around for a source… from behind him a red portal opens up as a demon (Category: Fury) lunges at him with all its might, however it suddenly flinches at the sight of Matt holding up his hand like a gun aiming at it.
Fury: You… You are just like him!
Matt turns his head and smirks, turning his attention to the demon in front of him.
Matt: So you’re the reason everyones running away huh? Some armageddon going on?
The fury laughs at this statement and flies up to him.
Fury: Well you’re part right, anyways… But I’m not the reason everyone is scared.
The god human suddenly hears a sound from the tv as it shows a broadcast of the news.
News guy: Breaking news! A man known as Matt kingsman has been seen robbing a museum for some ancient pendant! This man has been responsible for several crimes throughout the years, starting from the disappearance of the queen from Numbaria, and the destruction of the west city! Fortunately the hellspawn from below have decided to help us defeat this threat of both worlds!
Matt stares at the monitor in disbelief before shaking his head and smiling.
Matt: Like anyone will fall for that bullcrap. If you think anyone would even-
Suddenly the sound of footsteps is heard as a katana is unsheathed. Matt turns around and blocks an attack. Staring at the perpetrator, Matt’s eyes widened in hurt and disbelief.
Matt: Violet?

His hand drips with blood from blocking the attack as he parries away. Violet regains her ground as Matt tries to reason with her.
Matt: Wait please… Violet it’s me!
Violet: I know…
She says rushing at him with all her might. He quickly side steps and jumps back as she throws the katana into his chest.
Violet: I don’t know how you know me, but I don’t really care.
She says grabbing the katana and plunging it deeper in. Matt coughs up blood as he continues to plead.
Matt: …we… we were married… 2 kids…
Violet: Married? Why would anyone love you?
She says ripping out the blade as Matt falls to the floor. Before losing consciousness, all he could see was Violet, staring at him with disgust in his eyes…

Matt walks back to his house after a long day… a long and stressful day… When he opens the door, Rose and Petals run over and hug him as he almost falls over.
Rose and Petals: Dad! Happy birthday!
Matt: Aw, thank you two…
Suddenly the lights flicker on and reveal a cake with Eren, Spark, Violet, Mercury, Heather, and Venus standing there next to it.
All: Happy birthday Matt! We hope you have the best day ever!
Matt smiles as he walks towards them to hug them. He notices Fox sitting on the couch just watching with a smile. Upon hugging Violet however, he suddenly phases through her and the room suddenly turns dark… He looks around and hears mocking laughter from a familiar voice.
Ares: Ah… what a nice memory… How old are you now? 28? Well happy late birthday. Sorry I couldn’t make it. But it’s a shame don’t you think?
He appears next to Matt, startling him.
Ares: You’ll never have anything like that again. The warm comfort of your family and friends… your wife despises you, acts like she doesn’t know you, what about the others? What difference does that make?
Matt clenches his fist as Ares smirks and pats him on the head.
Ares: Are you crying? Oh my god, you ARE crying! Now that's a familiar tune.
He says laughing.
Ares: A grown man with the powers of a god, crying cause mommy went to sleep forever.
Matt looks at him with hatred and confusion
Matt: What the hell are you talking about… WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY?
Ares: Oh kid… You’re just like him.
Matt has no idea who he’s being compared to but he feels anger anyways and rushes at him with a punch but then his punch is caught by a different man. Matt looks around and sees he’s on a table with rock walls as he stares at the figure in front of him.
Matt: What in the…
The man laughs slightly and lets go of his hand and walks around him.
???: Now that's the look you’d give an enemy.
He says pointing at him. Matt gets up and notices the bandages around his chest. He looks back up at the man and asks,
Matt: You’re not gonna kill me?
???: Now why would I do that? Now since I saved your life
He says pulling up a seat with a serious expression on his face
Fox: What’s going on here, Matt?

I feel like thrown into a Season 4 of an anime, with well established character and conflict but I know none of them. Yet I keep watching cause this shi is fire and I wanna know what happens next.
