He was convicted of murdering 49 women and may have murdered up to 80. His victims were prostitutes and vulnerable 'throwaways'. His body count was so high it was reputed he lost track of how many he actually killed. He is currently incarcerated serving multiple consecutive life sentences + 480 years.
