Stick-Khan was not the first to attack Stick-Realm…
Back before the realms, there were the Elden Gods–beings with powers beyond comprehension and wisdom that stretched eons. These immortal beings created the realms and remained benevolent in their existence. However, there was one among them, Stiknnok, who became corrupted by his lust for being the strongest of all the Elden Gods. He believed if he could control a realm all by himself, rule it with an iron dictatorship, then he would be unquestionably the strongest among them all. He set his eyes on the latest realm created by the gods: Stick-Realm.
He waged a fierce battle against the appointed defender of the realm and Demi-God of Thunder, Stickden. The war between the two lasted a millenia, and plunged the planet of Earth into a deep century-long darkness that caused the destruction of multiple civilizations.
During this time, Stickden determined that the source of Stiknnok’s power came from a gold amulet with an emerald orb in the center that the Elden God wore on the belt of his robe. In a desperate attempt to prevent the loss of any more innocent mortal lives, Stickden managed to steal the amulet away, draining Stikknok’s power into it, and leaving the god a shell of his former self.
With the help of the other Elden Gods, who had remained out of the conflict as to test Stickden’s true worthiness as the protector of Stick-Realm, Stickden banished Stiknnok to a desolate wasteland deep within the bowels of the Divine Realm (where the Elden Gods reside): A realm known as Hell.
You see, the realm of Hell is where the Elden Gods choose to have no domain over. Thus, the demons within it fight each other to become its ruler. Oftentimes, a demon would ascend to be the King of Hell, just to be mercilessly and viciously dethroned by their minions. When Stikknok fell into the pits of Hell, he was caught under the rule of the current King, Lucifer. Lucifer would torture him with fire and brimstone daily and nightly, as to break the fallen Elden God’s will and spirit. Stikknok, powerless without his amulet, could not do anything against this torture.
Meanwhile, knowing that the amulet returning to Stikknok would bring about another great war between the two, Stickden broke the amulet into fourths and buried the pieces throughout Asia, assigning a guardian to the different parts, each guardian representing one of the four elements: earth, wind, fire, and water.
