Funny thing is that support for Hamas amongst Palestinians tend to rise during periods of violence. You know, when Israel is committing war crimes against them. That is because it prompts them to seek revenge for Israel’s wanton destruction against them. So they are helping the resistance more than hindering it, if anything.

But then again, Israel has been known to try and prop up Hamas to make the claim to Palestinian statehood seem more illegitimate, so maybe this was the plan after all.
