There were family members among the Rothschilds who were zoologists who did much to collect and study exotic newly discovered species throughout the world in remote lands.

What I meant is the documentary inserted butterflies in a way that felt forced. Like two people were in the middle of talking and one interrupted to pick up a butterfly that landed on the other person’s back, which is something that butterflies don’t take do. The Rothschilds have quite the reputation, so I wonder if it is what it looks like. People that powerful are often scary asf.

Interesting. I think the documentary I saw was called The Rothschild Legacy. It tried to paint them in a good light, but it admits they started out smuggling goods for the British crown.
