*Rick is at the door to the P.I. office.*

*he knocked on the door*

*After a few seconds, you hear someone scramble to unlock the door. Once it opened, you see the P.I. , Laura*

Laura: Come in…

Rick: hey..

Laura: *opens the door for him*

*he walks in*

Laura: *stares at him with her cybernetic eyes* Hello Rick. *sits down in her office chair*

*his firey eyes met hers before he looked outside in search of the unknown person*

Laura: What brings you here today? *eating a candy bar*

"some guy was tailing me so I came here to lose him.."

Laura: Tell me about this tailing person. *looks at him in the eyes*

"Didnt get a good look at him.."

Laura: Tell me everything you remember.

"He was mostly in the shadows. its almost like he's everywhere where the darkness lies."

Laura: Hmm… have you made enemies?

"no."

Laura: You’re positive?

"unless people don't like me cause of my sudden outrages.. other than that I'm positive"

Laura: *munches on candy* Anyone around you who has enemies?

"likely. she's hidden well though.

Laura: Do you think they’d kill you to get to her?

"likely."

Laura: Do you know who her enemies are?

"There's a lot. but I've never seen this one before.."

Laura: Maybe she has. I’ll go talk with her. Thank you for being entirely truthful. *passes him a lollipop*

"thanks. let me take you to her."

Laura: *nods and grabs a few candies*

*he then leasd her to a secluded place that seems abandoned*
"here we are."

Laura: *walks around while scanning the area*

"Dont worry. its a safe area. I made sure of it. *he opens a rusty door* come in."

Laura: *walks in*

*there was another person (his name is xain[pronounced "Zain"] and his enhancement is glitching. this makes him virtually impossible to kill he wields a sword) upon seeing Laura he seemed a bit agitated. around the corner there was Allen, the girl Rick was talking about (she has shadow-like abilities and her eyes glow as a result)*
Rick: there she is. *he points at Allen*

Laura: *glances at Xain before walking up to Allen* Hello, Allen. I’m Laura. He hired me to help him solve a case. Could you answer a few questions for me? *scanning*

*she nodded*

Laura: Do you know anyone with an ability like yours?

Allen: yeah.. *her voice is a bit low and soft but enough so that you could understand her*

Laura: Tell me about them.

Allen: *a bit hesitant she says* he tries to attack me in my dreams. sometimes he's there sometimes he's not.. He calls himself Shadow..

Laura: We believe the same person has been attacking your brother. Do you have any ideas of why?

Allen: Brother..? Rick isn't my brother.. and why would he attack him?

Laura: Why does he attack you?

Allen: I... I don't know..

Laura: *scans for lying* Are you sure?

Rick: How is she gonna know why someone attacks her?
Xain: If this person really is Shadow, all he's looking for is her power.

Laura: You have similar abilities Do you think you could potentially harm him?

Allen: Im not strong..

Laura: Is it possible for you to take us where he takes his victims? If so, could we interact with him there?

Allen: I'm not sure..

Laura: Is there a safe way to test this?… *thinking*

Rick: She may not have the ability. She's only half shadow type. but who knows? there could be a way if she's up for it..

*Allen sighs anxiously*

Xain: This Shadow guy is practically a god. He could find us if he really wanted to. but right now he's trying to mess with us mentally. its all part of his sick games. I've been through it. That's how I got my Glitch ability. *he Glitches momentarily as he groans*

Rick: I know him too. Only difference is that I've only seen him. Now that shadowy figure was probably one of his henchmen, slave, or a hallucination. If not, then I don't know who it was.

Laura: How long did he try to mess with you?

Xain: A few weeks at most. been a while.

Laura: Do you know how long he’s been doing this or who he tend to choose as victims?

Xain: It seems like he chooses victims that are mentally weak. And how long has this been going..? cant say. years maybe? He started attacking Allen a week ago.

Laura: I might have an idea that can help, but I’ll need to update my eyes.

Rick: ok.

Laura: Stay safe, please. I’ll be back with something that can help.

Rick: you stay safe as well..

Laura: *nods and quickly runs*
