Eggman's Announcement (alternatively I've Come to Make an Announcement, Eggman Pisses on the Moon or Shadow the Hedgehog’s a Bitch-Ass Motherf**ker) is an event that takes place in the series SnapCube's Real-Time Fandub, in which Dr. Ivo Robotnik livestreamed a Twitter rant across the world. The rant calls out Shadow the Hedgehog, who had sexual intercourse with his wife. In a fit of rage, he shows the world his bare genitalia, and proceeds to strike the Moon with a laser beam of his own urine, cursing out former US President Barack Obama in the process.

The speech is part of the episode "Sonic Adventure 2 (Dark Story + Final Story)", published on July 18, 2018. It has inspired countless tributes and it has turned the gag into a copypasta as the show's most quoted segment of all time. The moment has also changed the way fans interpret official Sonic the Hedgehog media, with the phrase "HE PISSED ON THE MOON" trending on Twitter the morning of November 25, 2024 following the release of the trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

this could've been a cool mechanic if they actually made him do anything aside from just slow the damn game down like pressing O to move a cube out of the way doesn't constitute fun gameplay, i think at least. the little bubble guys from the previous game literally accomplish the exact same thing as him, he is, without a doubt one of the most pointless and replaceable game elements in anything i've played over the past two decades. aside from spreading guacamole and turning wheels (which i don't think he really needs to be there for anyway) this man's very self and being is in-and-of-itself more of an obstacle than those he literally only exists to deal with
