Does anyone else ever watch those YouTube videos where they open up old MREs and see if they’re still edible? “Steve1989MREInfo” is the best.

He’s had some from as far back as WWI and even The Civil War. Those are usually completely inedible, of course. Most of the ones that he reviews are from within the last 40 years. I love those videos.

The early ones talking about 'no health insurance', I'm not eating that, before he did the 'studio' lol

I wouldn’t touch any of the ones from before the 1980s. I just like seeing the condition of all the various components of the individual MREs and the ways they used to package everything. He even reviews stuff from other countries.

Review brah & L.A. Beast are pretty entertaining.

I’ll have to check those out. I don’t get on YouTube as much as I used to.

I used to watch a lot of the food reviews. And the ones where they were trying to eat the hottest peppers and sauces that they could find. Most of those guys must have cast iron stomachs to eat some of the stuff that they do.
