Don't you guys get offended by ANYTHING that remotely involves you or your god? (Just a few days ago, you guys were freaking out about a chess.com twitter post asking for funny bishop names)

The reason people were angry is because it definitely seemed like Chess.com was going to rename the pieces, only specifically the ones that had to do with Christianity, which seems quite suspicious

And we don't really care if a guy from a show about superheroes says he's God

Another lie. There were actually quite a few Christians who made a big deal out of that quote when that episode came out.

Anyone who couldn't see that the tweet was a joke is stupid beyond repair. Chess.com has posted the exact same thing about rooks.

Even if some Christians make a big deal of it, you can't say all of them do.
If you could, I could believe rationally that every atheist is either Stephen hawking, a port addict, or a militant that shoots up churches.

In case you didn't know, chess.com does not own the game of chess. Chess.com is simply a site that hosts chess games. Chess.com has also done the exact same thing with rooks and nobody had an issue.

The replies were mostly definitely not jokes. People on twitter are dumb beyond belief and nothing they say should be taken seriously, however, they did not intend to continue the joke.
