So what happened was that the SR (student representation) came into my class today, and they brought a petition with the goal to hang a pride flag in my classroom during pride month. While everyone was willing to sign it, I was the only one who stood up and spoke against it.
Now, before y'all flame me, I had my reasoning to not want a pride flag in my classroom. It was because I just wanna be pansexual/panamorous without all this trumpery. People say that pride flags are representation, but from my POV they just present me as a different being. But I'm not different, I'm just a regular human being, only with an attraction to two genders instead of one.
Tl;dr I'm pansexual but I don't like pride flags because they separate me.
