Just need some clarification

Jay did struggle with cancer, yes. Most of us stayed there for him even when Clo seemed to inform he was dying.

After a while, he privately shared a post saying he survived the cancer to some of us, then he made it public.

After all of this though, he has chosen to go inactive on imgflip, I keep in contact with him, he's doing decent as of now.

He posted earlier today/yesterday depending on your time zone

I noticed.

He did have cancer but when he was weak his ex girlfriend Clo took over his account and lied about him dying. When he got better he realized what she did and broke up with her

Well I knew about the clo taking the account over but I did not know about the last part
