Oh, I'm so sorry, BPD (borderline personality disorder) is a mental condition. My main takeaways from the effects of BPD, are that they feel empty inside, however it isn't in a psychopathic way, their identities are very unstable, and they tend to lose their sense of self or their purpose in life. Another really big of it is splitting. People with BPD see things in a "black and white" way. As in, they either percieve something as all good or all bad. For example, if a close person in their life, like a friend, or partner does something harmful or "triggering" the way they percieve that person will change immediately, and it may cause conflict between them and their close friends, which makes maintaining relationships dificult. They also experience intense emotional instability, meaning they feel emotions very intensely. They can experience very low, depressive episodes, where they feel worthless, or like I said before, empty or dead inside. But they can also experience super euphoric episodes where they experience higher levels of energy and overall happiness. They experience these intense mood swings where they can go from feeling euphoric, to depressed, to overly hostile and irritable, or overly anxious within a single hour. People with BPD also have a fear of abandonment, and reckless impulsitvity which can lead to substance abuse, dangerous sexual activity, and self-mutilation.
