You gotta understand that it might not be because wasnt the bible written like 4000 years ago so probably said in a way that ancient farmer guys (who most likely didnt even SPEAK english or know what it is, or atleast not the version that we know today) who lived several millenia ago could understand and it has a bunch of translations that were made like also close to 4000 years ago when translators probably sucked so its very likely that its a poor translation, imagine like running it through google translate a few hundred times
