Do we allow humans with features of the Beasts of legend from exposure to dark magic for most of their life?

Unless it’s a human and has 1-2 powers, yeah

They only have one power. It also takes several months of absorbing shadows, which they haven't done in years. So I think it doesn't count.

Name: Jace Casmir
Age: 14
Description: He was a street urchin, but then he met you and was intrigued that you had powers too, so he followed you until you decided to temporarily team up to defeat Nalsa. He doesn't know what his superpowers are exactly, but he knows he's different.

Aiden: …are you even thinking Jace?

"I can't think about my power, because I don't even really know what it is!"

Aiden: oh… just snap your fingers then, the power should appear

"Okay," I snap my fingers. Nothing happens.

Aiden: it’ll take a bit

"But how will I kn—" I suddenly disappear

Aiden: …that should do it…

I reappear a moment later on the other side of you. "See! And then that happens."

Aiden: …huh?

"It's hard to explain, I've only accidentally done it, and suddenly come back, It's really hard to put into words but… it's like teleporting, almost I think."

Aiden: you ready to put up a fight?

I nod

Aiden: *they walk to Nalsa*

I cross my arms, tense and alert

Nalsa: *he smirks at you and Aiden*

I glance over at Aiden

Aiden: what? You don’t have a superpower

"No, I do, I just don't know….how to turn it on."

Aiden: oh right… just think of your power and they should activate

I squint, but nothing happens.

Aiden: huh, that’s a really cool power there

"It's annoying, sometimes I wake up and I'm in a random place."

Aiden: oh… well if you use it many times then you can master it

(Are we just talking in front of the bad guy? What was the purpose of the meeting?)

I nod.

(Yes, the purpose of the meeting was for Nalsa to tell them that he’ll kill everyone)

I turn to Salsa trying to read his face.

(My oc is Raiven, he's basically a normal human but has black wings and wolf-like ears. For the sake of this rp they're not hidden. Since he really doesn't have non-godlike powers i guess I'll make up an infinitely weaker version, he can essentially throw shadows as projectiles.)

Aiden: he’ll usually appear below there right now *he points to an alleyway between the building*

Raiven: That makes this much easier.

Raiven: Just say when.

*they see Nalsa arrive to an alleyway*

Raiven: *flicks off a lamp and pulls the shadow towards him, having it wind around his hand*

*Nalsa was looking on his phone, looking for someone*

Raiven: *releases the shadow, aiming for Nalsa's head*

*it hits him*

Raiven: Bullseye. *he snickered, reaching for another shadow behind him.*

*Nalsa groans from the hit*

Raiven: *steps out of the building, a shadow in each hand* Nalsa, Nalsa, Nalsa. Just who I wanted to see.

*he gets up, glaring at Raiven* what was that

Raiven: Wow, you want to know my secret already. And you think I'll tell you. That's funny.

Nalsa: wdym “Secret”

Raiven: Should I tell you what I do, you know my weakness.

Nalsa: *he shrugs* why not

Raiven. Too bad. *huls another at him as fast as he could*

*Nalsa catches it*

Raiven: What the f*ck--

*he tosses it back* nice try, at least I saw that coming

Raiven: *holds up a hand, the shadow stopping in front of it, then pulling one forward from behind Nalsa*

*he dodges it*

Raiven: What the f*ck, man? You got eyes on the back of your head?

Actually *he turns around, showing eyes at the back* I do
