It's not bad per se. It's just more childish than what Teen Titans fans at the time wanted, given the absolute banger of a show that came before. It's also long overstayed its welcome I think. It has it's moments, but it's just not my thing.

and that teen titans was more dark

It was, but it still had goofy and wholesome moments between the cast. It was a show about superhero teenagers, geared towards teenagers.
