I'm looking at you, Japan and some areas of the UK and Canada

Imo there should be no such thing as country exclusive stuff unless it's like a really small business that doesn't have the profits; Like, for example, you still have to localize the game, like you don't gotta do every language but you gotta at least translate it to a few major world languages, and also keeping something country exclusive just for "uniqueness" is sorta racist
