It was Tuesday from what I can recall, I was 13 and a loving father who was nearly 30. Mother died when I was 4 though, someone managed to get into her car and murdered her. But back to the events that I can barely remember.My genuis father revealed to me he figured out how to use psychic power and wanted to teach me, but then his laboratory underneath the house seemingly exploded. Everything that happened after is a heavy haze. A woman screaming as knights made of mists ripped out her husband's lungs. A police officer dying to another one of those Mist Knights. A car getting torn to shreds. Dying screams snuffling out. A robber having an arm torn off and his body devoured by a Mist Wolf. My father using his new psychic abilities to shoot fire out of his fingers. A human head being squished into a bloody pulp. Someone screaming for help, and then a squish with a headless body falling off a brown, battered roof. I saw a portal to the universe where the Mist Demons, the collective term for the living beings made of mist from the Black Universe, come from. I fell in by accident while trying not get my head slashed off by one of the misty monsters, and now I'm living here with a Mist Horse that I named Raijin because I liked Japanese stories, or at least I think I liked Japanese stories back in my home universe. I cried so much in the first year I lived in this hell. Now it's been 16 grueling years, and I am nothing more than forgotten even though I remember. I am Ivan, and my father is Dr. Noah, or his nickname of Cakedoctor that his closest friends called him. I barely remember my mom. My horse, Raijin, and my lover, a Mist Lady in a disguised human form named Evaleigh, are my only allies in this broken shell. I try to remember, and a voice in my head tells me that it remembers too.
