Heather, Jewel, and Angel waited patiently for their friends to arrive, until they finally did! One Matt showed himself,in his pure animosity state and carrying Eren on his shoulder, Jewel quickly hid behind Heather, who patted her head to comfort her.
Heather: Hey it’s okay Jewel. That's the kind man from my memories.
Jewel got a better look at Matt and the woman in his arms and nodded.
Jewel: O-Oh yeah…
Matt sat down outside of a door next to Heather and tossed Eren on the ground.
Heather: Hey Matt. What's with the new form?
Matt: I just explained this earlier, I’m not doing it again?
Heather: Aw… not even for little ol me?
She says teasing him. Matt chuckles a bit, causing the aura around him to misshapen but he regains focus.
Matt: You wish.
Jewel peaked from Heather’s side and saw Matt. Once he caught a glance at her, Jewel hid once again.
Matt: Hey uh… I’m not gonna hurt you I promise! I’m sorry for scaring you earlier.
Jewel peaked out slowly once again and then walked up to him.
Jewel: Y-you promise?
Matt: That's what I said.
He holds out his hand to shake, which makes Jewel flinch, but she shakes it after a couple seconds.
Jewel: I’m Jewel.
Matt: Nice to meet you.
Jewel smiles a bit, feeling comforted as Topaz watched… was this what it was like to watch her younger self with Mister Kingsman before?
Topaz: Uh… Mister Kingsman? Shall we continue our quest?
Matt: Huh? Oh yeah, the quest.
He says as his aura mishappens once again but regains form as he clears his throat.
Matt: Okay so this door. Behind this door is Cross, as we all know. Once we step in, this is us saying, “We’re ready to kick your ass!” And that's what we’re going to do. Okay everyone?
Everyone nods as Fox finishes healing Eren, who gets up sleepily next to Matt.
Eren: Are we here yet?
Matt: Yes Eren. Yes we are.
Eren stumbles onto her feet and shoots a thumbs up.
Eren: Alright buddy! Ready to get your wife back?
Matt: Never been more ready in my life.
The two fistbump as the team barges through the doors. …except for Angel and Fox who stayed behind.
Angel: …You know the plan, right?
Fox: What?
Angel: The plan if they fail?
Fox feigned ignorance and tried to pretend he doesn’t know, but Angel punched him in the shoulder
Angel: Don’t start lying now… You know it’s a possibility
Fox: Oh come on, I’m confident in this
Angel: Alright… but if they don’t…

The two glance at each other and head into the room to meet up with the team, ready to take down Cross…
