Monstorus cautiously wandered forward and looked and the robot.

“What… is this place?” He’d ask, looking confused as he looked around the open space.

The only response is the chirp of insects.

As you look closer at the robot you see a switch.

*Does oc need to be human. If not I have a perfect oc for this.)

(No, go ahead)

(K. *pulls hollow knight oc out of pocket* This is Gears. She is very short. She likes tinkering with stuff and making semi-useless contraptions. Very hyper child.)
Gears: Ooh! Look at that! Wonder what it's made of.

"F-f-follow me."

Gears: *follows him&

You follow the robot as he takes you between turns and twists until you finally reach the exist, you see a ship there.
"Dead ahead cap'n."

Gears: You have a ship, too!? This is awesome.

"Aye, be a pretty one she is. The StarHawk be 'er name."

Gears: StarHawk. That's a nice name!

Rybo walks towards to the starship and opens the hatch, he beckons for you to follow.

Gears: *runs up the the hatch* I never thought I'd be on a ship!

"Were to cap'n?"

Gears: Whatever this one is called. *she points to the planet marked with the X*

"Aye, cap'n. To Navia."
Rybo starts the ship and the journey begins.

Gears: Hey, do I have to steer this, or does it go there on its own?

Rybo gestures for you to sit down on the "cap'n seat." He shows you the steering wheel, and how to man the star-ship (just think star-wars ships).

Gears: Wow, that's easier than I thought it would be.

"Aye, you be a fast learner, cap'n"

Gears: *puts her hands on the wheel, beginning to steering the ship*

A door in the ship, that you never noticed opens inside is an assortment of gears, junk, and trash.

Gears: Oh hell yes. New favorite room.

You enter the room, which is actually more of a cabin.
"Aye, 'tis be the cap'n loggings." Rybo says

Gears: This is so awesome. Who would have known the captains room has literally my favorite items?

As you explore more of the room, you notice more pirate junk, but also a metal shiny little orb

Gears: Ooh! Rybo, do you know what this is?

"Nay, Cap'n."
You drop it and starts projecting a holomap, it shows a red X on nearby planet. You realize it's a treasure map.

Gears: *studying the map* Rybo? I think we've got our destination.

As you look closer you notice a switch

Gears: A switch? I guess I can find out what it does! *flicks the switch without hesitation*

The robot switches on and starts talking.

"D-d-d-d-do not switch off or all m-m-m-menory will be l-l-lost. W-where am I?"

Gears: Ooh, it talks too! This just gets cooler.

"W-w-where am I?" the robot repeated

Gears: Some garden maze. And you're covered in leaves.

The robot stands up and rips the leaves off of itself. It takes in it's surrounding slowly, and then examines you.

Gears: Oh, wow. You're really big.

"Typing in coordinates." Rybo clicks some buttons. "Now, 'ere, put that level, and we'll be off."

Gears: *pulls the lever*

The ship blasts into hyperdrive and a thousand stars and planets speed past in one blur

Gears: *shocked* This thing goes really fast...

There's a creak and you suddenly jump out of hyperspace with a jerk.
"I be fearin' that would 'appened." Rybo says with worry in his voice.

Gears: W-what happened?

"Seems, as 'f we be in needin' of more fuel."

Gears: Oh, that's not so bad. Where would one get more fuel?

"T-t-the Pirate Code."

Gears: *really excited* Ooh! You're a pirate robot!? That is SO COOL!

"Since m-m-me cap'n is gone, by the p-pirate code I need a new one. Will you serve as m-me cap'n?"

Gears: Hmmmm... Sure, why not! Couldn't hurt to have a robot around.

The Robot kneels before you "B-by the pirate code, I p-plead allegiance to you."

Gears: Well, welcome, Rybo!

"C-cp'n what is y-your first order?"

Gears: *she thinks on this for a little bit* Well, I'm not really sure how to get out of here. Do you think you could find an exit?

"W-w-who are you?" the robot asks, pointing a robotic finger at you.

Gears: I'm Gears! What's your name?

"I-I-I am X-355 Rybo."

Gears: Rybo! That's a nice name.

"Are you my c-c-c-captain?"

Gears: No, I don't think so. I've never seen you before.

"The c-c-c-code says that I need a c-c-c-captain."

Gears: What code?

(Nope, on a whole different planet in another system)

"C-can't say I remember no E-earth." Rybo says.

(How tf did I get here)

(Spacetime cataclysmic events, you just woke up and found yourself there and then found the robot. It's all in the story line so don't worry about it for now.)

Gears: It— it's a planet... it's blue and green, it has clouds over it...

"C-can't say I remember no E-earth."

Gears: That's weird... do you have, like, an interplanetary map or something?

His one eyes blinks and a holographic map starts projecting from it, showing thousands of star systems.

Gears: *studies the map* Hmm... it should be there, but... *she points at a weirdly empty space* there's nothing there.

"W-what be you lookin' for, cap'n?"

Gears: I'm just trying to see where my planet would be. You see this empty space? That's where it would be usually, but there's nothing there...

"What p-planet?"

Gears: Earth, the one I just said my workshop was on. It should be here...

"C-can't say I remember no E-earth."

Gears: *sighs* Yes, we've gone over this. I remember planet called Earth, but apparently it doesn't exist, so we can't go back there. That means I have only one tool, and it's not gonna be too helpful.

You suddenly hear a thud behind you.

Gears: *jumps in surprise and turns around*

"W-where we be 'eating, cap'n?" Rybo asks as you bounce up and down on the pilot seat.

Gears: Hmm... well, first why not head to my workshop?

"W-what planet b-be that in?"

Gears: Planet? You mean this thing can go through sPACE?

"Aye, t-that be true."

Gears: Well, my workshop is just on Earth...

"E-earth?"
