It's due to what people define as sexism i would say
women and men have different roles and rights in Islam
for example: men HAVE to work in Islam, they have to provide for their family
by their reasoning, islam is anti-men
Islam is not a misogynist religion, it's the opposite actually. in pre-Islamic Middle east, sexism was very common and normalized, Islam is a religion that's against sexism but it took a while for everyone to accept Islam, so there was still sexism around the early years of Islam.
