A Race To The Grave: Prologue

The year's 2048.
While trying to cure cancer, a group of scientists created a super tumor, that is able to manipulate patient's brain. Most of the time infected people just die, but sometimes they turn into gluttonous beasts, whose only goal is to eat and infect more.

The government has fallen. Anarchy, chaos, the world has fallen into darkness. Some people hide in shelters, in hope to wait out the apocalypse, some decide to just give up and die. Rumors about people with supernatural capabilities are spreading fast, some think that this is the chance to stop the infection, some think that those people don't exist, some think they will rule them.

The wealthy people organised a race, if you win it, you can enter their shelter with them, only one person will be declared a winner...

Magnus Jerkit is one of the many people who want to at least try to win the race, in order to survive.
