The Minecraft Java Edition is objectively better than the Bedrock (aka pocket) edition, most bedrock players are just too young to argue and admit they are biased. This is because parents tend to buy their kids a phone or console earlier than a pc bc good ones cost much more plus you actually can’t do anything wrong using a console, with them being unable to do stuff as klick on free robux links or be modded. It also is way buggyer than Java, thus I only ever play it to obliterate 5 year olds on the iPad with my mouse. The only real advantage bedrock has is it’s easy integrated online multiplayer, tho that’s easily overshadowed by FREE Java mods like essential, basically doing the same job but just better. Not all bedrock players are incompetent, just most.
