Destruction of Xylus Chapter 4. Fading Fire

Xhilita: I've got about 3 minutes and 57 seconds... Don't get in my way.

She flew directly at DBL as he stared at her. She chuckled as she gained Distance to him, everything feeling like it was slow.

"Divine Beings Truly are Marvelous..." Xhilita thought to herself as she stared at DBL, "I wish I could just get a sample...but I don't have enough time to live...hah...plus I'm prohibited from the science center...hah...the irony..."

DBL swung his fist at her but she dashed around him and slashed his face causing a slight scratch of black blood to drip down his face. DBL growled and swung his arm back and hit her in the stomach, sending her flying back and crashing through multiple buildings. He got up and chuckled, feeling the burn and the thrill of the fight she hadn't had in so long. She looked at her damaged arm and chuckled before ripping it off completely along with the sleeve of her cloak before instantly regenerating a new one.

Xhilita: Ahahahaha! You're the strong one we've been waiting for...

DBL ignored her words and flew straight towards her and she jumped back. She chuckled as he attacked her but she quickly maneuvered around his attacks.

Xyon: She's actually dodging his attacks...

Scar: didn't he already destroy the entirety of our species...how is she...

Xyon: The Xylonic version of Steroids I guess...

She continued moving around his attacks and fighting back, only being hit a few times. Even though DBL's attacks barely landed, she still took a lot of damage from each hit from him. She slid back and wiped her face, feeling the bumps from her veins pulsing out of her skin, the blood dripping from her eyes and the torn parts of her cloak and body.

Xhilita: Everything is Burning! Hahaha! I feel it in my Blood, it Tinges!

DBL: You've lost your mind...

Xhilita dashed around him, scratching his face and armor and blasting at him while laughing maniacally.

DBL: Her Attacks are doing more damage the more she's gone...but that Ember of a soul...is Fading Fast.

Xhilita laughed before she glanced at her arm. The veins in her arm were glowing a bright orange and she thought to herself

"2 minutes, 12 seconds..."

She dashed around more not letting him get close to hitting her as she charged up some Flame Magic

DBL: I can see your Soul Woman. You are not lasting long enough to defeat me.

Xhilita: Ahh~ but I can...by the Ten Second Mark I should be able to break you down.

DBL: I'll make sure to kill you before that then.

He flew forward at her and summoned a purple blast of energy and slammed it into her stomach, sending her crashing back into a house where he quickly followed her and they started clashing again. The Blood draining from her eyes dripped down her face and landed on the ground with each attack she landed and blocked from DBL.

Scar and Xyon were on their knees praying for the Souls of Their loved ones, comrades and their species with the Red Flower that symbolized The Ember of a Soul they had as Xylones.

Scar: I hate to be the one commenting. But do you really think she can win?

Xyon: ...

Scar: Sorry...I shouldn't be talking like that about our only chance t-

Xyon: No. She's not winning this. That Armor, his durability and his strength...she doesn't stand a chance. The only reason she's still alive is because of Xylone Adrenaline being amplified by that serum.

Scar: Damnit...unless she finds a way-

Xyon: I doubt it...

DBL: Hmph! You're doing well. This is not too bad of a fight for a Mortal!

DBL launched his fist at her and she swung around it and kicked his face before she jumped back and landed.

Xhilita: I'm obliged I made a Divine Being Happy! I've never felt this sensation before either!

DBL: How much longer do you have left Madam.

Xhilita: 57 Seconds...

DBL: Let's make it count.

Xhilita laughed before she blasted herself at him faster than ever and sliced his face and armor some more before blasting him in the back with the charged blast of flame energy which sent him crashing back.

DBL: Not bad...but still...

DBL yelled and summoned a giant blast of Shadow Void energy and threw it at her. She used as much speed as she could to move out of the way and she barely dodged it. She winced in pain as she looked at her arm, which was on fire and her veins were bursted open. She growled and rammed into him with Full Speed which caused him to stumble back more and she kept hitting him harsher each attack as she caught on fire from the inside. She slid back and threw up a ton of blood that boiled on the ground. She looked at her hands that were on fire and up at DBL

DBL: 20 seconds.

Xhilita: *cough* let's...make it count...

She laughed as her legs caught on fire almost instantly and she flew at him at even faster speeds than before. He saw this and blasted a beam of Shadow Void Energy at her which she flew around it like a spiral and punched him across the face, Doing a surprising amount of damage.

Xhilita; My calculations said I shouldn't be able to attack that harshly now...unless-

She was cut off as she looked at herself, the flames around her body grew around her and she blasted herself at DBL and relentlessly attacked him and the flames around her scarred her body. Everything from her lower torso and her arms was burning but she kept attacking.

Xhilita: H-Hot-!

DBL: I may not be able to see you...but you cannot keep going!

Xhilita: I don't care!

She blasted herself far off and looked at DBL from a distance before blasting herself back at him. By the time she got close to him she was already fully on fire and burning alive.

Xhilita: Burning Spiral Torpedo!

She yelled as she flew around in a spiral shape and went right for his chest. She hit him at immense speeds, her attack making a giant hole through his armor and his chest. But alas, even after making a fatal wound, she crashed to the ground lifelessly and burnt. The Ember of her Soul. Extinguished.

Scar: She... actually did it...

Xyon: That's...surprising...how did she get through his armor?

Scar: That doesn't matter. She got revenge for the planet...but this place isn't hospitable anymore, we've got to go somewhere else.

Xyon: Right, there's an escape pod in my basement, we could-

Behind them DBL stood up and stared at Xhilita's burning corpse, then at Xyon and Scar.

Scar: He can't be still alive, how!?

DBL: I am a Divine Being. Your puny Mortal attacks cannot kill me!

With his words he proved his point as he regenerated the attack from Xhilita conple, only leaving a hole in his armor.

Scar: No way- he just-?

Xyon: You...Bastard...

"I'm gonna kill you."
