I'm black but one of my ancestors is Filipino

That's interesting, a lot of people I know who are mixed between African American and native American don't tell people about being half native

More mixed people should in my opinion. Our indigenous history is just as important as our black history

Fr, our culture is so much more than that. It’s part of why Killers of the Flower Moon is my favorite movie of all time, it’s the only one I’ve seen that actually accurately depicts indigenous American culture

I've been made fun of for caring Abt indigenous culture as a white person, very much pisses me off
