Matt and Eren: CD

Petals: Alright dad, keep your eyes closed!
Matt, with his eyes closed, walked into the garage… It was Matt’s birthday, and Petals had something planned for him, but he didn’t know what. After bumping into a couple of walls and tripping on Eren (who was sleeping on the floor), they made it to the garage.
Petals: Ho kay! You can open your eyes now!
Matt opens his eyes and sees… a crate.
Matt: Wow… a big crate. Good job, Petals.
Petals: No! It’s what’s inside the crate!
Matt: Oh! Uh yeah I knew that uh huh totally!
Petals rolled her eyes as she opened the case revealing a robot with brown coating and a screen on its face.
Petals: Dad! Meet Metal Matt! Also known as M&M for short! It was designed to be faster, stronger, and more powerful than you overall! It’s designed to kill you in case you go too far! What do you think?
Matt just stared at her confused and then stared back at Metal, and then back at Petals.
Matt: Petals… Have you thought about the repercussions?
Petals: What?
Matt: You gave me a murder weapon for my birthday- wh-why would you do that? Like, I appreciate it, but- that's like giving someone a reminder on their anniversary that they could break up at any moment. And a robot me? You couldn’t have just made a weapon or something?
Petals: Well uh… I just wanted to-
Matt: Alright, this is fine… just don’t make it attack me
He says placing a hand on her shoulder… however the second he did, Metal Matt spring to life
Metal: Child endangerment detected. Initiating attack sequence.
Matt: Wait what the heck- OH GOD-
Metal rushes at Matt who was taken off guard and they’re sent flying out of the house. The two were sent into an empty street while Petals quickly rushes to wake up Eren.
Petals: Aunt Eren, wake up! I screwed up!
Eren: huh… what…?
Petals: I made a huge mistake and now Dad is fighting a robot version of himself!
Eren looked at her confused
Eren: …okay but have you thought about the repercussions? Like it’s his birthday, and it’s attacking him, so isn’t that like a reminder that he could die anyti-
Petals: Just help me out, Aunt Eren.
Eren: okay.
Meanwhile, Matt lands on the concrete ground and gets up feeling the back of his neck. Nothing broken yet… Now where the hell is that robot- Suddenly he felt a woosh of air pass by him. And then another…

Matt: Shit… this robot is constantly moving so I can’t focus on him properly…
He looks around in order to try to predict where he would come from next. Suddenly he felt a punch from behind his head, and then another in his front, followed by an uppercut into the air, only for him to get slammed straight back into the ground. Matt lays on the floor trying to get up only for him to get pushed down by the metallic foot of Metal Matt. He continues to apply pressure but Matt laughs.
Matt: Don’t you know that never works?
He lifts up one hand and coats it with Ares Armor and snaps his fingers, causing a current of air to fling Metal off him… Matt dusts off his coat and shakes his head, sighing.
Matt: I feel dirty doing that…
Metal Matt gets back up and wipes off the dirt off his screen.
Matt: So now we can get down to the real fight! The last Matt standing will be the winner.
Metal makes some electronic noises and wags his finger
Matt: What? This world isn't big enough for the both of us, and one of us has to go?
Metal nods as Matt confidently smirks.
Matt: Well I agree!
Matt coats his legs with Ares armor and dashes at Metal while Metal Matt blasts air out of his shoes in order to mimic his movement. The two punches meet each other as the ground breaks underneath them.
Matt: You might know everything I’m going to do, but that's not going to help you, since I know everything you’re gonna do! Strange, isn’t it?
The two put more pressure into their punches as the ground breaks underneath them, sending a shockwave across the city which was felt by millions. A couple of which we know.
Petals: Agh! What was that?!
She says on her floating hovercraft with Eren as they try to find Rose.
Eren: Probably your father. You know how he is at fighting.
Petals: Yeah… But Metal might be too much for him to handle! He’s one of my greatest inventions and we need to find Rose immediately!
Rose: Find me for what?
Petals: In order to stop Metal of co- Rose?!
Below the hovercraft, stands Rose, who was eating a cream puff as she got back from school.
Rose: Nice ride! What are you doing? Where’s dad? I have to wish him a happy birthday!
Petals: Okay so for his birthday I made a robot version of him that was made to attack him and it got haywire so we need to stop him!
Rose: Okay but have you thought about the repercussions?
Petals: Reprecu- ROSE YOU WERE THE ONE WHO TOLD ME TO MAKE THIS!!

Rose: I just thought it was a cool idea at the time. Besides, if it was made to kill dad, why would you even make it. You love him just as much as me.
Petals: …just get in the freaking hovercraft.
Rose: okay.
Rose climbs into the hovercraft (almost tilting it over) and falls next to Eren and Petals.
Petals: Everyone ready?
The two blondies nod as Petals presses the gas pedal and flies to the city.
Petals: The shock wave should have originated from somewhere over here- Oh there!
She points and sees Matt and Mattal duking it out. Matt blocks an overhead and grabs his leg, swinging him around and tossing him into a building, but Metal quickly recovers and zooms from building to building until he makes it in front of him as Matt blocks the attack sending another shockwave, shaking the hovercraft the three were on.
Matt: huh? Petals? What are you doing here?!
Petals: Dad! I brought help to fight Metal Matt!
Matt: Nah don’t worry, I got it! But how did you build this metallic madness in the first place?
Petals: …Allow me to explain
She says going serious.
Petals: I first got some titanium coating (Thanks Audrey) to cover the mechanics… and then I amplified the effect by putting multiple coatings over the titanium in order to create the effect of your strength with each punch. I then gave the shoes an upgrade. I added holes in the bottom for large amount of air to shoot out in order to mimic your way of propelling with your black coating thing… and the laser I used a-
Matt: Wait, laser?
Metal’s chest plate opens up to reveal some sort of red emerald inside and fires a huge red laser at Matt sending him flying.
Matt: WHY THE HELL DOES IT HAVE THAT?!
Petals: …*Ahem* The laser was made when I found a rare red emerald which allows a strong amount of energy to be stored and shot at the opponent.
Matt: HOW DID YOU FIND THIS?! HOW DID YOU GET THIS?! YOU’RE LITERALLY 7 YEARS OLD!
Petals: Medea.
Matt: F**king Medea…
He says under his breath as he gets up and keeps exchanging blows with Metal. Petals, continues to Eren and Rose.
Petals: I recreated the fights Dad has been through against Mars (Eren: Who dat?) and Mania Matt using info he gave me about it, and a bit of the scarab raid but there wasn’t much… I don’t think Dad would be able to win this…

The three look from the side of the hovercraft as Metal does that thing again where he starts moving rapidly around Matt. Petals covers her eyes, not wanting to see her dad get beaten into a bloody pulp as Metal rushes in for the finishing blow but… Matt caught the punch.
Matt: That's not going to work on me twice. Why don’t you find another way of defeating me?
Metal: Scanning…
…
…
Metal: No openings detected.
Matt: That's what I thought.
He lands a clean punch onto the robot, sending him in the air but instead of knocking him down, Matt grabs a stop sign, rips it from the ground, and chucks it at him, breaking into his chest plate. He jumps up and snatches the emerald away from the compartment, shutting down Metal as he kicks the body to the side. Matt lands down safely with the emerald, tossing it with one hand and catching it as he glances at Petals who was still covering her eyes.
Matt: Petals it’s over.
Petals peeks from the side and then smiles brightly, piloting back down and getting out of the hovercraft. She rushes over with Rose and hugs Matt.
Petal: Dad! You’re okay!
Rose: We thought for sure you were dead!
Eren: I didn’t.
Matt looked up at Eren who was still sitting in the hovercraft.
Matt: …Eren, get out of the hovercraft.
Eren: No. It's comfy.
Matt shakes his head and turns to the lifeless metal husk.
Matt: So uh… cool birthday gift. Thanks Petals. It was a nice fight too while it lasted.
Petals: I'm sorry… I just wanted to distract you while Mom is away… you always seemed so gloomy and sad and it's your birthday and I wanted to make you happy!
Matt: oh come on… Petals you shouldn't involve yourself in other people's lives if you can't help them, okay?
Petals: okay…
Matt pers her head as he grabs the broken M&M and heads off with them.
Petals: I'm gonna go put him in a scrapyard or something…
Matt: no no no I have ideas for him!
A couple minutes later, Petals was busy reprogramming Metal.
Petals: So you with red hair and red eyes. Right?
Matt: Yeah and make him protect others trying to defeat that version of me.
Petals: oooohhh good idea.
After some typing she closes the computer
Petals: Alright! Metal Matt 2.0 is ready! Now activated with a press of a button instead of thinking you're going to slap me.
Matt: Alright sweet. Have a Cheeto bag.
He says tossing her a bag as she happily opens
Petals: Thanks Dad!
Matt: Oh! And what did I say about marking your things?
Petals: oh you're right!

She grabs a spray can and starts to spray an M on the front of Metal Matt's case.
Matt: Did you have to make it red? Now it looks like you froze Mario’s dead corpse in there.
Petals: Sorry I used all the brown paint up while making him…
Matt: I'm just messing with you, it's fine.
He says as he turns to his phone. There was a notification from Eren that reads “lmao crashed into the town hall with Petals hovercraft thingimajig. Send help =v=” which made Matt audibly sigh.
Matt: hey it's been fun but Erens being an idiot so why don't you two make a cake for tonight, okay?
Petals: okay dad!
Matt runs out of the garage as Petals walks outside with Rose and Confetti
Petals: oh Confetti is staying for the night?
Rose: *petting confetti* yep! He's such a good boy!
Petals kneels down in front of Confetti
Petals: hey little buddy! I made a robot copy of my dad so that's why we were so busy today?
Confetti: arf! (Okay but have you thought of the repercussions)
Petals: I SWEAR TO GOD-

A couple years later…
Petals and Audrey sit down and watch TV, snuggled up together… It was a quiet day since the maxes were God knows where. Rose and Tsukai (none of you know who that is) were hunting Yokai again and it was just the two of them.
Petals: man… I wish we had more time to ourselves like this.
Audrey: mhm…
The two continue to watch TV until a reminder appears on Petals phone.
Petals: Oh it's Dad's birthday. Give me a second.
She says moving away from her as Audrey nods. Petals turns on her phone and dials Matt's number waiting for him to answer… no response … she tried again… still no response… one more time for good measure. She clicks the button… finally!
Petals: hey dad! Happy birthday! I can't wait to see you again for the family dinner! I promise I won't bring something so technologically advanced like that skateboard again… I know how much you hated that!
She laughs to herself thinking about her youth until a voice makes her smile fade.
Violet: …Cherry, honey… It's your mother…
Petals: mom?! Wait, where's Dad? Why isn't he answering?
Violet takes a deep breath, trying to stay strong in front of her daughter…
Violet: your… your father is…
Petals drops the phone onto the ground with a worried expression. Audrey pauses the TV and runs up to her.
Audrey: Petals what's wrong?
Petals: My… my dad died…
Audrey: Oh I'm so sorry…
Petals: we'll all be if we don't hurry.
She says running to the basement to Audrey's confusion… she could tell from that look in her eyes, Petals wasn't just sad… she was scared… of what?
Audrey: Petals what's going on?
Petals: the end of the world as we know it, now help me pull this thing up!
She says lifting up a metal container with the letter M. Audrey helps push it up so it stands up straight as Petals steps in front of it.
Petals: step back hon…
She takes out a remote and presses a button… a small beep is heard as the door opens with steam coming out. Inside was a robotic version of Petals Dad got some reason… the screen on their face flickers to light as Petals stares at it.
Petals: bring back my dad… defeat Ares.
The robot looked up and spoke
Metal Matt: Ares, dead or alive, is mine.
A red aura surrounds it as something glows inside of their chest plate…
Audrey: That's what you kept in there?! What is this?
Petals looks at her and smiles
Petals: our trump card.
