Info dump of my favorite dinosaur

Info dump of my favorite dinosaur | The Carnotaurus, or more specifically Carnotaurus Sastrei, is a species of therapod that lived in South America during the late Cretacious period. It only has one discovered specimen, but said specimen was remarkably well preserved, so it is considered well known. It was roughly 24.6 to 26.2 feet long and stood close to 9 feet tall, but could have very well grown bigger due to the nature of us having only one reference point. It has a short and tall head with its signature horns along with what are considered vestigial arms. This creature was built for speed, its legs most likely long and thin to support running. Its estimated speed lands somewhere between 30 to 35 mph, remarkable for a creature its size. It is slightly contested whether this dinosaur hunted smaller creatures or larger sauropods. It's speed would've allowed it to slowly injure and tire it's prey if it hunted large sauropods, "death by a thousand cuts" style. One of the noteworthy things about this creature is that it was the first theropod to have skin impressions of it found, making this dinosaur even more well known. | image tagged in skull | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
