kinda. It and minecraft are quite different games all in all

terraria is way more combat focused, and minecraft is more building focused

even so you can still be super creative with building in terraria

for example terraria has over 550 different weapons, you can play as actual classes with magic, ranged, melee, etc

ye, modding terraria is generally way easier than minecraft, you just download tmodloader on steam (it's free if you bought terraria) and can download and play mods through there

multiplayer in terraria is also easier than in minecraft, but there isn't much crossplay for now. and the pvp isn't great, better for just playing through with friends
