When I first started driving in the early 1980's (in the south of the UK) , every year it snowed for a few weeks and we all learned how to cope - low gears (most cars were manuals), leaving big gaps and gentle braking.
Nowadays,it's very rare and there are so many drivers who have never experienced those conditions.
They are easy to spot. They are the one's in a hedge or ditch and sometimes in the back of the vehicle they are too closely following. That's climate change for you ! 😉
