Complicated lore but basically she's actually a human but she gained the ability in 6th grade

OHHH shape shifting or controlled animalizations

Basically she can only(important) transform into this and it's still her human mind and she can still speak English

so controlled animalization got it. and by that I mean she cant change into anything but she can change into a cat and back into human if she wants....question is whether it works by one piece rules and which she has a hybrid form or not but I'm not pushing you to make any decisions
