FBI BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
I have an idea: every few years the FBI do background checks of members of Congress, just so we can make sure none of them are drunks, cheats, spies, or reprobates of other sorts. This would be especially useful for Senators, who are in the apparent business of smearing and degrading presidential nominees they disagree with.
