Prototype: Argent (commonly shortened to just Argent) was an experimental robot using Argent Energy as alternative fuel. Originally used as security throughout Caliber Robotics establishments, 35 years after its creation, its reserve tanks were running dry. In a desperate attempt to save their beloved security guard, Prototype: Argent became the first test robot for Project: SPLICE, its partner being Marshall Scott, a 24-year-old human-mutant lizard hybrid.
The effects of Project: SPLICE led to Prototype: Argent being decommissioned, as it's terrifying appearance was seen as "too threatening" for a kid's establishment.
As of 2290, Prototype: Argent's location is unknown, a security breach at the storage facility led to the escape of all failed Project: SPLICE victims. Some speculate that the soul of the humanoid overpowered the robots, leading to them becoming a new vessel for the souls.
