Which is entirely separate from the team that actually works on the games
People like Charles Martinet even support fan works
They're an amazing company with a legal team from hell

Their games are fun, and good

It's just that the higher-ups are greedy money gobblers who make you pay 60 dollars for a game that came out almost 15 years ago

Again, this doesn't make them evil

I think the higher-ups of Nintendo wanting to bleed us dry while also making their legal team sue anything indirectly related to Mario is a bit evil, in my opinion

Games have been this price for a long time, this isn't just a Nintendo thing. It does kinda suck that they pay full price for simple texture upscales, but their re-releases have been getting much more worthwhile (like Mario RPG HD and TTYD HD)
Not to mention they're far from the greediest and most evil game company. At least they don't charge like 900 dollars for a "pro" version of a console
Or riddle their games with microtransactions
They do make questionable business decisions, but they're definitely not evil

I'm not saying that they are 100% evil, I'm saying that in a lot of regards, their morals are not in the right place

The game development team, especially people like Miyamoto and Sakurai, seem like the sweetest people ever
But the legal team and higher ups definitely do questionable things

I do think it's said a lot
but then again it's not like they do a good job of providing people wrong

While the rest of Nintendo is a little iffy at times

I've noticed their games have had a lot more personality lately, especially Mario games
Going from NSMB and Sticker Star to SMBWonder and Brothership is insane

Idfk the price pf a switch 2 but I think steam deck is 600 bucks

but since I can run Nintendo games on the Steam Deck it would be a 2 in 1
