I only play with .999 quarters now.

I fixed a coin operated paper box for a friend (we still have those out here). The old quarters worked fine but the new ones are lighter and would hang up. Like everything else even us coins dropped under Biden. I adjusted the machine to think it operated on dimes, works now even with slugs, lol.

A slug is better than U.S. coins, can you believe it ?
For a while you could get rolls of quarters @ the bank & there would be random silver ones in them.
People caught on, might still work tho, if a person were inclined to try.

I have a few silver coins that my dad found that way. I have them now, bought silver bars to go with them. My real serious investments are businesses and land. I don't trust much more. If I knew anything about AI, I would invest in that just because whatever the state sponsored media builds up is funded by our corrupt guvment.

Yeah, takes $ to make $.
A lot of people think we are close minded about tech.
Crypto was/is boom/bust, risky.
Musk has Dogecoin, pretty sure @ .10 we could buy a ton of it.

I took $1000 years ago bought ten coins, 100 each and another $1000 bought 8 stocks, 100 each and 100 on 2 IPO's. Both made money, the stocks did better than the coins. Buying timber land and cutting it did better than both by far.

Doge is @ .42 per, I mite hafta figure it out. By Monday, haha.
