zombie apocalypse (YIPPEE)

prompt 1:"it's been six months and your oc is in a city looking for supplies. they loot around not finding much but it starts getting dark, so they go find some shelter in an abandoned apartment and they go to sleep. they get startled awake to the sounds of hoard of zombies but before they could react they hear a gun click and cold metal pressing behind their head"

prompt 2:"it's been 2 months and your oc is still trying to get used to living with limited resources. they are in a more northern part of the country and decide to move south before the winter hits. as they are packing up their things they see a very timid girl with a baseball bat just walking around with a simple backpack, looking really lost."

prompt 3:"it's been about 4 months and your oc just got in a hell of a gunfight, all of your group members are dead, the other group is dead and you're hit 2 times in the body. your reward? a battle rifle which you don't have the ammo for and 3 cans of soup. so as you are leaning against a tree waiting for your death a lady runs up to you and starts doing first aid. but she was too late and your oc passed out. hours past and your oc suddenly wakes up near a campfire and the lady sitting next to you."

rules:"if you wanna use powers, then please tell me and make it really simple power (ex. healing but can't heal the infection or major injuries like missing limbs) , romance is fine, erp is fine, the only banned power is teleportation (goes against prompt 2),try to give your ocs civilian guns but if they have a military background I may bend the rules a little bit. have fun"

Is my character allowed to have energy weapons and armor

no, i think it might be too powerful for this rp

What if I put an overheating thing on it

how about it's a really experimental energy gun that fires a 3 round burst before overheating and it has a high chance to misfire (1 in 5 burst)

(also if the gun is shaken a little too hard it will fire a burst)

The shield would just act like a normal shield cuz I don't think average zombies would get through steel anyways-

but the shield can't stop any rifle rounds, it can only handle about 4 shots of .45 acp. before shutting down temporarily
