My tip is just write your shitty writings and revise it again and again.

If it’s an essay I write an outline of the essay and fill in the gaps with what I know or I just bullshit my way through

Or make it fun by pretending you’re explaining this the same way a character would, once I pretended I was mumbo jumbo writing an essay in biology

Omg I love using the prompt for the fanfiction and daydreaming about it, and writing down everything I remember and filling in what I remember

Take breaks sometimes and drink water :3

I mean I always have ideas of what I want to happen in the story, the actual writing is hard
I have some tips tho:

-Take your time. Rushing can dampen the effect of the story you’re telling.

-Think ahead about what you want to happen in the chapter/story. Make an outline, make a google doc for random bullshit, daydream in school, anything. If you know what’s going to happen, all you have to do is put it into words.

-Avoid being overtly repetitive in your wording. Add some variety to your writing to make it flow better.

Bonuses that I should've included before:

-Make sure not to be afraid to use repetition for emphasis. When used intentionally, repetition can help make a point or create certain feelings

-Treat characters like real people. How do you think they would react to something with their personalities and knowledge in mind? How would they interact with others?

-Don't be afraid to have variety and good representation in your cast! Representation can help others feel good and if every character looks the same or acts the same, that's a bit boring and possibly confusing.

-Cats. Have them somewhere, somehow (this is a joke rule btw)

-When taking breaks, think about the media you consume (books, shows, webcomics) and what makes them good or interesting. Use those good aspects and put a spin on them to use in your story.

hope this helps!

A good example of me improving because of media is when I was watching The Dragon Prince and I noticed the way they make wings looks really cool and I figured out why it looks so good. I was able to use this information to improve my wings ^^
