gerard way was born april 9, 1977 (my mom was born april 9 too) in new jersey and he was bullied a lot in hs, then he witnessed 9/11 happen and got inspired to start a band with his brother Mikey and their friends Ray and Frank, their first album was I Brought You My Bullets, you Brought Me Your Love (2002), including the song Skylines and Turnstiles, which was the song inspired by 9/11, also documents Gerard's struggle with drugs and alcohol, and so began the story of the demolition lovers. their story continues and ends in Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004), then the Black Parade (2006), which is the story abt a cancer patient preparing himself for death. Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (2010), is their fourth studio album (and mostly considered the last), telling the story of the "Killjoys", and the postapocalyptic landscape of california 2019. The four characters, the "Killoys", are Party Poison, Fun Ghoul, Jet Star, and Kobra Kid, all led by the infamous Dr. Death Defying, or just simply Dr. Death, they fight against Better Living Industries, or BL/IND, who wants everyone to be the same, kind of like 1984, just without the other weird stuff. The Killjoys' main enemy is Korse, and they die in the "SING" video, but the cut thingy shows they faked their deaths which is a large rumor in the fandom. The album has the same name as the comic series created by Gerard Way, and "Killjoys" is also the name of mcr fans.
