the purpose of necroposting rules is that it gives alerts for old, unnecessary content. for example, posting a new reply to a post on the scratch forums will move that post to the top of recent, even if its years old and already solved. for a fandom wiki, this is not the case and as such and necroposting rule is, aside from not being useful, also disincentivizes using the wiki at all
