Adolf Hitler Biography

Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, in Braunau am Inn, Austria. Hitler would grow up to be one of the most infamous leaders in the history of the entire world, as his actions left an impact on the world forever.
Long before he would become infamous, Hitler had a relatively normal life with his parents, having a strict father and a loving mother. After both his parents had passed around the beginning of 1908, Hitler moved to Vienna with hopes of becoming an artist and beginning a life for himself. This dream however didi not work out, as he failed multiple times when trying to get admission to the Academy of Fine Arts. During this time, however, Hitler would begin to get into politics and his character started to form, with his racial ideologies and influence of the anti-Semitic and nationalist sentiments in Vienna.
Then a big turning point came in his life following World War I, as he served as a corporal in the German army, where he was a beloved soldier for his bravery and heart to fight. However, he had a personal resentment towards the Treaty of Versailles, as it showcased the loss Germany suffered in the war. This Treaty is what fueled Hitler’s desire to take revenge.
Following WWI, Hitler would join the German Workers’ Party, which would later be known as the Nazi Party. He had incredible skills and leadership, which helped to elevate him to a higher position. He gave speeches discussing the state of Germany after the war, and making a promise to overturn the Versailles Treaty and restore Honor to Germany.
In 1923, Hitler would find himself in prison after attempting to seize power in the Beer Hall Putsch. While he was in prison, he wrote “Mein Kampf,” (Which translates to “My Struggle” in English), and in this autobiography, he discussed the vision he had for Germany and his plans to start a territorial expansion. During this time period, his leadership was made even sharper.
In 1929, the Great Depression would continue to beat down the already bad state of Germany, which laid the groundwork for Hitler to rise to power. He would brilliantly exploit the failing economy, political hardships and fear of communism to his advantage to work his way up the Nazi Party and position himself as the solution to Germany’s problems.
The Nazi Party only continued to grow in power, and in January of 1933, Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany. He would use a clever but evil strategy by persuading President Hindenburg to sign the Reichstag Fire Decree, which directly lead to the arrests of a ton of political opponents. After scouting the competition, Hitler was granted dictatorial powers in March 1933 as part of the Enabling Act, which only made him more powerful and allowed him to eliminate more competition.

Hitler’s leadership skills were undeniable, as he had the ability to manipulate and control, making him devastating and powerful. He would use propaganda to promote the Nazi ideology publicly, making them formetable. He was able to get on the good side of millions of Germans with his great speeches and promises that he would heal the Country, making him a beloved and supported leader.
With the leadership of Germany now in his hands, Hitler would begin aggressive expansions of the country, taking over Austria and the Sudetenland. In 1939, he took the Nazi army and invaded Poland, which was the start of World War II. Even though Hitler was a brilliant leader, he was not the smartest leader, and a few mistakes during the war caused catastrophic failures, which lead to Germany’s defeat in 1945 and the end of the war.
Even though he was a strong leader, he is not a beloved leader, as fast forward nearly 80 years after WWII, Hitler is one of the most infamous names on the planet. His racially motivated tactics lead to the holocaust, causing the mass genocide of over six million jews and the deaths of millions of others who the Nazi deemed undesirable. He was an aggressive and cold-hearted leader, who was willing to sacrifice anyone and everyone to carry out his desires.
In conclusion, Adolf Hitler rose to power through his uncanny ability to take advantage of hardships in the economy and his ruthless tactics to eliminate the competition. While his leadership was strong and scary in most aspects, he was merciless and was responsible for the murder of millions. Today, Hitler is one of the most infamous human beings ever, and his story serves as a reminder that an uncontrolled desire for power is incredibly dangerous. | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
