Use your creativity to make something new and awesome! Moderators will try to disapprove obvious reposts and plagiarization. Rather than directly copy-pasting an image or meme text that someone else created, try to put your own unique spin on the idea! If you simply submit an old image without adding anything substantially new and unique, then it will likely be disapproved.
Here are some examples:
OK: Posting an image you created yourself with image manipulation software other than Imgflip
OK: Posting an image using text you borrowed entirely from someone else but added to a different image than the original
NOT OK: Posting the exact same image (same text/additions/etc.) to the same stream more than once
NOT OK: Posting an image that contains text or other additions, none of which you added yourself
NOT OK: Adding irrelevant text like "yup" or "lol" or "." just to make an image different from the original
NOT OK: Adding only a reaction image or other insignificant content just to make an image different from the original
