in recent news, Goldspace got permanently shelved in January, I'm on hiatus from OS development, and when I come back, I'll write a new kernel, because I made a whole lot of bad decisions early on in Goldspace's development, like for example, designing it for the x86_32 architecture. it will instead be x86_64.

at the higher levels, like GUI, everything's prolly gonna be just as I originally planned it
