Talk to them
Sit them down and tell em what’s bothering you and they may understand and change but the first step is to talk to them

I tried that yesterday, I have trouble speaking these days due to constant interruptions and denials from my family, so I wrote a letter. My mom magically forgot she treated me badly but in her response to my written out message(on paper btw), she started denying it and acting like a bad parent. Again.

As I said, I tried to get to the point. It’s literally talking to a brick wall. I responded completely normally and they couldn’t even say anything like “Hey, I’m sorry.” Or “Look, we’ll try to improve as parents.” They just guilt tripped and got emotional the moment I said something negative in a normal way.

Well, now that’s not good, you need to tell them you matter too, not just them and tell them you need to focus on ur mental health then they’ll get worried
