Decided to revamp one of my old prompts and actually flesh the idea out. Buckle up, y'all are (hopefully) in for a wild ride.

Golden Hero: *coughs up some Iqor and looks up*

"Sit down at least," [The beast said, clawed hand gesturing to the throne,] "And let me introduce myself. I am Vanu, and I know you as the Golden Hero." [Vanu dipped his head to the Golden Hero, sharp rainbow horns nearly touching the Hero as he did so.] "I heard you had quite the tussle with my brother, no?"

Golden Hero: nah we just spoke

"Hm," [Vanu tilted his head in a musing motion,] "I didn't think of Voa-T as the talking type, though the outcome," [Vanu gestured at the Golden Hero,] "I foresaw happening ages ago."

Golden Hero: what're you talking about

[Vanu glanced at the Golden Hero in confusion, eyes narrowing quizzically at him.] "You... Remember how you died, yes?"

Golden Hero: i was fighting...he somehow matched my speed and...I then ended up here with a missing arm and a hole in my chest

"So it was more than a talk," [Vanu said, gazing at the Golden Heros glimmering arm and the hole in his chest,] "It's a shame you couldn't, perhaps, have a rematch with Voa-T, saving your world in the process perhaps."

Golden Hero: Oh that's who you were talking about, sorry thought you were talking about the other guy

[Vanu tilted his head in confusion again, his claws clicking against the floor.] "...Whose the 'other guy'?"

Golden Hero: Nevermind that it'll get too confusing

[Vanu shook his head, his large horns nearly tapping the sides of his temple.] "Nonsense, I get lost in places and conversation rarely."

Golden Hero: y'all just have confusing names it was MB

"Ah, I see," [Vanu said with what sounded like agreement,] "If you think our names are dramatic and confusing, wait til you hear my brother's real name-" [Vanu suddenly paused, blinking as if he remembered something important. The massive beast sat up straight, his tone more serious.] "But I digress, I didn't bring you here for a chat. I have an offer for you."

Golden Hero: Eh?

"I'm guessing that is a yes," [Vanu said as the temple doors swung open, exposing the bleak gray land outside. Kahal was standing there, eyes focused on the open temple doors.] "Kahal, we have another."
"Another?"
"Another."

Golden Hero: Uh-

"I am giving you another chance at life and a chance at the power needed to defeat my brother and save your world," [Vanu said, golden claws extended in invitation,] "Take it and you will be sent on a journey across the cosmos. Decline it, and you may go to Eden," [The grand beasts eyes narrowed as he gazed at the Golden Hero, demeanor serious,] "Though even I can't guarantee if the heavens will survive Voa's onslaughts."

Golden Hero: thank you

(When you accidentally click agree on a website and suddenly are sent to a much shadier site you can't click out of)

"He seems startled," [Kahal observed, looking at the Golden Hero as Vanu edited the temple,] "You have told him all of what your offer entails, no?"

Golden Hero: Uhhh-

[Perhaps sensing the Golden Heros confusion and possible hesitation, Kahal began to gently nudge him back into the misty landscape.] "If you are confused, I will explain on the way there," [Kahal said, still nudging him into the mist.]

[Peering down at the Golden hero was a large beast with many wings and many eyes, though it didn't resemble the angels in classic portrayals. The look in the creatures eyes was remorseful and solemn.] "The Golden Hero, was it not?"

Golden Hero: Huh...? Yeah...who's askin

"I go by many names. A death god. The reaper. I prefer Kahal Vazune." [The gate began to open as Kahal spoke, a loud and almost wailing creak as it lazily slipped open.] "Ah. It is time to go."

Golden Hero: Hahah what Tsuki get fired or something? You the new Gatekeeper?

"There are many Gatekeepers," [Kahal explained as the two walked into the misty, barren void beyond the gate,] "Tsuki is merely one of them, as I am."

Golden Hero: Yeah but she said there was only her, her brother and father

"Many of us believe we are the only Gatekeepers when we start the service." [Kahal chortled, a unsettling look for her face,] "It may take thousands of years before one Gatekeeper meets another." [Kahal's pace began to slow as a beautiful, ornate temple came into view, decorated elaborately in gold, ruby, and incredibly fine marble. Kahal looked surprised.] "It looks like your story is not over yet."

Golden Hero: Hahaha, are you even from the S♢n♢ Dimension?

[Kahal didn't follow, watching the hero walk into the temple.]

[Inside the temple was an explosive kaleidoscope of color, vibrant jewels and stones of all colors forming beautiful panels depicting fantastical scenes and beasts of all sorts of things.

Standing in the middle of the temple was a beast somehow more extravagant than the temple interior, bearing more than a passing resemblance to Voa-T, but the beasts pelt was white, their gaze gentle but focused with a glint of fire as they stared down at the Golden Hero.]

"Welcome," [The beast said, a beautiful throne materializing for the Golden Hero,] "Make yourself comfortable."

Golden Hero: eh I've been stabbed I can't feel anything

"I believe not, but I assume it is one where death is not as grave as it is here. Whatever world or timeline you are from, Voa-T has sent you to his own dimension." [Kahal gestured at the temple, it's doors opening in a vivid golden light. Kahal turned to the Golden Hero.] "Go forth. An important guest has an audience with you."

Golden Hero: Right *he wiped the Iqor off his mouth and Walked over*

spring:*she slowly gets up* "where am I?"

[From the gate, the large creature approached Spring, it's many eyes peering at her with a blank but solumn look. The great beast tilted its head as they stared at Spring.] "Ah. It seems you're journey has come to an end. Spring, was it?"

"yeah... w-wait am I dead?"

[Kahal nodded gravely.] "Yes. I'm sure you are aware of the reason. For what it is worth," [The gate would begin to open with a loud creek, swinging open with slowly,] "You did what you could. It was commendable."

*she deeply sighs* "thanks I guess" *she slowly walks up the gate* "so what happens when I walk through the gates?"

"You are a honorable soul," [Kahal spoke, as the two walked beyond the gate and into the barren, misty void ahead,] "Eden will welcome you with open arms."

"woah... Are you sure this is Eden?"

".No, this is the path to it." [Kahal said as her pace slowed as they came across a... Temple of sorts, beautifully crafted with gold, marble, and ruby, a gleaming jewel among the barren mist. Kahal looked surprised.] "...It seems your story is not yet over."

"well I'm guessing you weren't planning for this" *she walks up to the temple*

"I was not," [Kahal said, watching Spring approach the temple. The unique beast however, stayed outside, not following Spring.] "Someone important has an audience with you."

*she looks at kahal before walking inside the temple*

[Inside the temple was a gorgeous kaleidoscope of beautiful jewels, glass and precious metals, all forming fantastical beasts and scenes and all sorts of other things.]

[Standing in the middle of the temple, somehow more vivid and extravagant than the entirety of the temple was a beast that bared more than a vague resemblance to Voa-T, but the beast fur was white, their eyes gentle yet a burning spark was able to be found within them. The beast smile upon seeing Spring.] "Welcome," [The beast said, a gorgeous throne materializing for Spring,] "Sit, make yourself comfortable."

"what the" *she looks up a vanu before walking over and taking a seat*

"Let me introduce myself," [The beast said, pressing a clawed arm to his chest,] "I am Vanu, and I know you as Spring." [Vanu dipped his head, sharp rainbow horns nearly touching Spring as he did so.] "I've heard you've had quite an... altercation with my brother, no?"

"wait the person I was fighting is your brother?"

"Join the club," [Ana-Vubis huffed, leaning back in his chair as he stared up at the ceiling,] "Kahal sent us here and that's just about it."

"We have about as much as much direction as a paper bag in the wind," [Uzina muttered, staring at a wall.]

[There was a demoralized sort of feeling that hung heavily in the room, mixed with some sort of boredom.]

"Mi. Miiiiii." [Mili has wiggled out of Veiges arms, and returned to poking Spring.]

*she softly pets Mili* "I'm guessing all of you somehow died in a heroic way?"

"They all died the same way you did," [A familiar voice said,] "Each a hero from their own world, fallen to Voa-T's onslaught as they made a last stand." [Mili's ears flattened at the mention, slumping to the floor. Veige picked her up again, giving Kahal a glare as she did so.]

"We don't need the reminder," [Veige said, bitterness dripping from her voice,] "You or Vanu or whoever brought us here for a reason, no?" [Veige leaned closer to Kahal, though the large beast was nearly Veiges height,] "What is it?"

"are you planning to make all of us fight Voa-T at the same time?"

[Kahal shook her head.] "That would fail before I could tell you why. The four of you would need a special relic designed specifically for such events as these." [The room dimmed, going dark for a second. Then a bright light burst into the room in the shape of a rainbow colored star surrounded by halos and halos of gold and white light. Attempting to touch the sight revealed it was a hologram of sorts.]

"We call it ARK."

"and how is this thing gonna help us defeat Voa-T?"

"If it was Voa-T, I would say so," [Vanu said with a nod,] "It's been a while since anyone tried to fight him. They all either gave up and hid, or in your case," [Vanu gestured to Spring,] "They die."

*she sighed* "thanks for reminding me that, but now what? "

"Now," [Vanu said, uncoiling his snake-like body to its full height, his temple shifting and twisting to accommodate,] "You get another chance at both your life, and to save your world." [Vanu extended his clawed hand at Spring, though even one of his claws dwarfed her.] "What do you say?"

*she thinks for a second* "alright but I'm killing that f**king bastard" *she grabs his hand*

[Vanu let Spring climb into his hand, then slowly exited the temple. Kahal, who was waiting outside, bowed in his presence.] "No need to do that," [Vanu said to Kahal,] "We have another."

"Another?" [Kahal asked, her many eyes alert and focused,]

"Another," [Vanu said in a confirming tone.]

"how is this gonna work? am I just gonna appear back on my world"

[Kahal was silent again as the two walked on in the misty landscape, a peculiar sight slowly emerging from the fog. A large glowing crescent moon shone from the most, illuminating a tall building that looked pure black, almost uncanny in color. The closer to the building the two came, the odder the feeling that engulfed Spring. It felt like she was in a thousand places, but also nowhere. Kahal came to a stop at the door, then knocked on it once, twice, and then a third time.]

*she takes a deep breath* "I feel really weird right now"

[Vanu said nothing, placing Spring on the ground next to Kahal. Kahal gestured at Spring to follow with her tail.] "If we placed you back in your world at this moment, there is nothing that would stop Voa-T from sending you here again."

*she follows her* "so then how am I gonna save my world?"

"As one does when so close to a dimensional rift," [Kahal said, the spires door opening with a sudden force that shook the ground, revealing a long hallway the same color as the outside of the spire, a faint teal and gold light distant at the end of the hall. Kahal gently nudged at Spring and gestured at the dark hall.] "Go forth."

*she hesitates before slowly walking down the hallway*

[There is no sound inside, not even the echo of her footsteps as Spring walked down the corridor, the lights growing brighter and stronger as she did so. At the end of the corridor was a large glowing door, teal and gold, looking like a piece of the universe was cut into a rectangle and placed there. The door opened by itself, revealing a large room that shared the same design motif as the door, looking like a fragment of the cosmos. More noticeable were the four figures sitting in the room at a small black table set that looked laughably plain and small compared to the rest of the room. One chair was empty.

The four stared back at Spring in surprise, before the smallest, a tiny cat-like creature with one cyclops eye squeaked:] "Miii."

"um hello I guess? who are you guys?"

"Miiii" [The small creature mewled again, running up to Spring to gently poke her in the leg.] "Miiii. Mi." [The tall, muscular Beast-Type sitting next to the dragon stood up, approaching the small creature before picking it up. The creature purred.] "So uh, This is Mili," [The Beast-Type said, pointing at the creature,]

"I'm Veige," [The Beast-Type said, gesturing to herself,]

"And over there are Uzina and Ana," [Veige pointed at the dragon and jackel Beast-Types respectfully, who both half-heartedly waved back.]

"well my name is spring and I honestly don't know why Im here"
