Wouldn't let me get a license, a car, a job, or a credit card until I had "good grades" and then when I had good grades he wouldn't let me get those things

and i'm not aloud to hang out with friends

Yeah. It was literally bc some stupid boy sent me a snap so I sent him a snap of my wall and he text me saying "I'm so hard" (mind you I never said or sent anything inappropriate to this person) and my dad freaking saw the chat and took away my phone for 3 years
