Capitalism may seem like a prosperous system, but what if I told you it's actually wrong and outdated? I have many ways that it is.
First, it destroys nature. Capitalism is a system based on infinite growth on a planet with finite resources. Therefore, the earth needs to be destroyed to keep the economy running, which is bad for humans. It may cause humanity to go extinct. Capitalism needs to constantly use the resources of the earth to make a profit, which destroys it.
Second, it puts profit over people. In capitalism, profit needs to be constant for it to keep going. This causes a lot of problems such as homeless people and bad products since in capitalism, whatever is most profitable is done rather than what helps others.
Third and most importantly, it creates workplace hierarchies. In capitalism, there are 2 classes. Working class and capitalist class. The capitalist class is the class th at owns property and doesn't need to work to earn money. The capitalist class gets their money off of the working class. They also get their wealth off of the LABOR of the working class. The working class has no private property and must sell their labor to the capitalist class to barely survive. See how this creates 2 classes of people? The ideal society is where all workers own the means of production and no sole person owns another person's work. Also, the capitalist class shouldn't exist.
In conclusion, capitalism is bad for the environment and people.
