Glatts - gigantic monstrosities that come from the space itself. The only things we know about them are: 1. They live in so-called voids. 2. They are capable of [character didn't hear it] entire galaxies.
There is no way for humans to kill or demobilise them, as soon as one gets to our home, we are doomed.
So, what do we do?
We have launched a project called "Second Home"! Hundreds of rockets are heading towards exoplanets to explore and colonise them. So we can run away as soon as we see a glatt heading towards the milky way.
