It’s crazy how self defense is illegal in the USA of all places

Not illegal, just a victim of a two tiered justice system

It is though, in blue states that don’t have stand your ground laws… I’ve heard of homeowners who were imprisoned and successfully sued for defending their home against an intruder.

It’s f**king ridiculous and unconstitutional. So many of our laws are. Apparently there’s a law about how much wheat individuals can grow… it’s insane

Small batteries now have to be in a childproof dispenser because one kid put some in his mouth. What was the bureaucracy cost of that ?

How about how Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs were banned here in the US for a choking hazard (a little buildable toy in an orange plastic capsule) even though there are apparently no reports of kids choking on them?

Two favorites. Years ago Sears was sued for not having any female employees in the tool department. No female ever applied to work there. “Sears should have reached out to find them”. CVS was found guilty of discrimination. because they put security tags on black hair care products, but not others. CVS said it went by the computer analysis of the most shoplifted products. Didn’t matter, guilty.

How do we market this nation as the land of the free and the home of the brave when we’re just as bad to freedom as the worst of nations and most of the politicians currently in office are the farthest thing from brave?! Hopefully Trump will fix that tho :)
