How it works:the game obviously supports split screen. But it also obviously supports regular crossplay multi-player

How many people can play a session?
4, and you can choose any major you unlocked from playing the campaign so far. So, if you are playing the campaign for the first time, you have Heather,Flynn,VerMann and Henry WellMann.

Can we play the horror sections with co-op?

Yup, BUT. Because there's voice chat. Enemies cam hear your voice chat.

What happens when all my mates are dead?

If this happens on realism, it's game over. If one guys dead. Just revive him/her, however if your teammate was blown up or brutally executed or burned. You gotta wait till the next checkpoint. If you all died on the normal difficulty, it's simply the regular back to previous checkpoint.

Can I do companion related stuff to the other players?

Yes

Can 2 people play as the same person?

Well, yes but actually no. Because you will See a regular S.A.S soldier if two people play as burnmann.

Can you play as Rock and Alaina Katson?

Yes, after you have beaten the game.
